Attention Providers: Flu Season is Here!

Did you know that Buckeye Health Plan covers flu vaccines? In compliance with ODM policy, Buckeye will reimburse for vaccines and administration. Please see below for the following CPT codes and instructions:
All VFC vaccine administrations should be submitted using CPT code 90460 for each vaccine along with the CPT code for the vaccine itself.
- 90460 Administration of VFC vaccine
- 90660 Influenza vaccine
- 90460 Administration of vaccine
- 90698 Pentacel
Vaccines Covered by Ohio Medicaid, but not included in VFC should be submitted with the appropriate administration and vaccine codes.
- 90471 Administration of vaccine
- 90660 Influenza vaccine
- 90472 Administration of vaccine
- 90670 Pneumococcal vaccine
Please reference all covered codes on the Medicaid and Medicare fee schedule for covered vaccines.
